About the Role:
Patrick's Home Solutions is looking for a skilled and motivated Licensed Pest and Weed Technician to join our growing team in Surprise, AZ! Responsibilities:
- Perform residential and commercial pest control treatments including inspection, identification, and extermination
- Apply herbicide and weed control treatments to lawns, landscapes, and hardscapes
- Conduct thorough property inspections to assess pest and weed activity levels
- Develop and execute integrated pest management (IPM) strategies for clients
- Maintain accurate service records and document chemical applications per state regulations
- Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly to customers in a professional manner
- Safely handle, mix, and apply pesticides and herbicides in compliance with Arizona state guidelines
- Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and chemical inventory in proper working order
Requirements:
- Valid Arizona Pest Control or Structural Pest Control License required
- Arizona Weed/Herbicide Applicator License or equivalent certification preferred
- Prior experience in pest control, weed management, or a related field
- Knowledge of common Arizona pests, weeds, and desert landscape conditions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in Arizona heat and varying weather conditions
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage a daily route independently
